What Customers Say About Kreg SML-C250S5-250 305 Stainless Steel Pocket Hole Screws - 2 1/2", #10 Coarse, Washer Head, 250 count:

My only real complaint is the setting Kreg specifies for mounting the pocket hole jig. None of the screws sheared off, but several rounded out with the #2 square drive. These were good screws for joining ACQ (requires stainless fasteners) 2" x 4"s with pocket holes. In soft ACQ wood, these screw will come out the other side of your joint. This occurs more so than with other steel pocket screws I've used. They did screw into the wood effortlessly. You either have to use shorter screws or back the pocket hole jig back an additional 3/8". I have seen this in hardwood, but it is a concern in ACQ woods.Overall they made a strong pocket joint with ACQ lumber.
